Multiquip in Australia is moving forward to solid growth
‘It has led to outstanding results and excellent chick quality’ says Craig Ponder, hatchery manager of Multiquip, about the collaboration with HatchTech. Multiquip started the hatchery operation in December 2012 with 99 million eggs a year. The total capacity has now risen to 125 million eggs a year thanks to an expansion of 12 setters and seven hatchers. Craig Ponder is very proud of the hatchery’s results. Multiquip is equipped with HatchTech MicroClimer Setters and Hatchers together with all the suggested heating, cooling and ventilation equipment. The hatchery also features the very latest incubation and automation machinery.
Millions of excellent quality chickens are hatched every month using HatchTech’s Incubation Technology. Multiquip’s commercial poultry hatchery located in Maldon, New South Wales, incubates the eggs and hatches them into day old chicks which are then delivered to broiler farms. The hatchery is the second largest in Australia and serves New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. This development was specifically chosen to enable future expansion. Multiquip is very proud of these solid steps forward.
