HatchTech expands R&D and sales team
Danny, Jan, Marc and Marieke are proud to tell you about taking their new positions at HatchTech.
Danny van Roekel has started as International Sales Manager for the Middle East. He is fascinated by the innovative culture at HatchTech and convinced that our products will be implemented in many more hatchery projects in the Middle East region. He is looking forward to sharing our unique solutions to produce Superior Chick Quality.
Marc de Visser has started as International Sales Manager for Oceania. After his internship at HatchTech, he was impressed by the level of product innovation at the company. According to Marc, his job is a marvellous combination of technology, links with different cultures and food production. He is highly motivated to inspire people around the world by explaining how they can benefit from HatchTech’s products.
The research team at HatchTech has also been expanded by two new members, the first of whom is
Jan Wijnen, he completed his master programme Animal Sciences and worked as a research assistant at Wageningen University. He was attracted by a vacancy for a PhD position at HatchTech. The subject of his PhD is the robustness of broilers and the link between incubation, chick quality at hatch and performance in the grow out period.
The second new team member is Marieke van Eijk-Priester. She completed her master in Animal Sciences in 2016. The final thesis of her Animal Science programme was part of HatchTech researcher Carla van der Pol’s PhD project. Marieke liked the subject and the company and therefore applied for a position as a PhD student at HatchTech. The subject of her PhD is nutrient uptake and utilisation by the chicken embryo.
