HatchCare breakfast meeting repeats its success!
The HatchCare breakfast meeting held yesterday morning at the Omni Hotel in Atlanta attracted a large crowd again and was an overwhelming success. During this early breakfast event, a team of industry specialists exchanged information with attendees about the early feeding concept HatchCare.
Firstly, Prof. Peter Ferket of N.C. State University presented an interesting talk about the contribution of early feeding to ABF production. He explained the forgotten, and important, key element, liquid water in relation to feed and other early feeding solutions.
Secondly, Joost ter Heerdt, Commercial Director at HatchTech, explained a new innovation. HatchTech has developed a new concept by implementing HatchCare in the HatchTraveller. The HatchTraveller is designed to maintain the conditions in the HatchCare during transport.
And lastly, our special guest from the field; Les Fisher, Vice President of Bell&Evans.
He presented his experience with his newly built HatchCare hatchery in the USA. He explained why the hatcher with light, feed and water perfectly matches their business model. “HatchCare’s focus on humane animal welfare is directly in line with the philosophy to continually reduce stress and improve the welfare and comfort of our chickens” Mr Fisher said. “It promotes ABF production throughout the poultry market.”
The breakfast meeting was an inspirational start of the day. The specialists informed more than 130 professionals from the poultry industry.
