No room for complacency
Climate change is one of the biggest issues facing society. In October 2018, the United Nations issued a “last call” for action on phasing out fossil fuels.
The time for businesses and other organisations to make this change is now. The food industry, in particular, has a major role to play in meeting the carbon targets set out by the IPCC and the wider scientific community. And, while the poultry segment has traditionally a lower carbon footprint than other parts of the food industry, there is no room for complacency.
